“Just 100* Questions” is a book about music and sound. It’s not a technical dissertation on how sound works or how music affects us. Rather, it is my love letter to an industry – an industry that I have spent 50 years in – and to the people in the trenches. It’s for anyone in, or interested in the inside stories of musicians and the professionals behind the scenes that make it all come together. By asking just one question per person, the answers required deep and focused thought about the topic yet deliver a simple and insightful message to understand. It’s also my autobiography created by 105 of the most talented people I’ve ever met.
Guesthouse Projects was created by me, Greg McVeigh, in 2006. I specialize in PR and Artist Relations for the professional audio and MI marketplace. Companies that I have worked with include Heil Sound, Martin Audio, Sony Pro Audio, Ultimate Ears, Clear Tune Monitors and others. I also handled PR for a fantastic music documentary called “The Wrecking Crew,” and helped in a Kickstarter campaign that culminated in the film getting a distribution deal. Other film projects that I have been involved with include, “Cream: America’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll Magazine and “The Immediate Family.” I believe in quality work and pride myself on having connections to make things happen for your company.
