Concert Touring – Is It For You?

Thank you: Aubrey Wright

For anyone who wants to get into touring, let me be honest with you.

It’s not easy. It’s long hours, early mornings, late nights, and a schedule that doesn’t care how tired you are. It’s airports, buses, quick meals, and living out of a bag while trying to remember what day it is. It’s hard work – real, hands-on, unpredictable, and sometimes unforgiving.

But here’s the part that makes it worth it.

You’ll grow in ways you never expected. Touring teaches you how to adapt, how to stay calm when everything goes wrong, and how to work as a team under pressure. It teaches you patience, empathy, and discipline. You’ll learn how to lead, how to listen, and how to be the person people can depend on when things get tough.

The road will test you, but it will also shape you. You’ll find your resilience in the chaos and your confidence in the challenges. And if you love it – if you truly love it – it will give back everything you put in.

Touring isn’t for everyone, but if it’s for you, it will change your life in the best ways.

So show up. Be ready to learn, ready to work, and ready to grow. The experience will push you further than you think you can go, but it will also prove just how capable you really are.

Stay Positive.
