The Danger Of Silent Burnout

The most dangerous part about burnout is:

How silently it sneaks in.

It doesn’t happen overnight.
It creeps in. Unnoticed.

You just got promoted, started a new project, or landed a new job.

Or maybe you took on more, like caring for an aging parent.

You’re all in, committed and enthusiastic.

Doing whatever it takes to succeed.
Proving how capable you are.

But gradually, your to-do list grows.

It’s like stepping onto a treadmill that’s set too fast.

But instead of slowing down, you crank up the speed.

You’re overwhelmed, but still pushing.

You don’t want to disappoint anyone.

But here’s the truth: The treadmill has a pause button.

Stepping off to catch your breath won’t stop the world from spinning.

It’ll be there when you return – at your own pace.

And so will your journey to success.

Remember, stepping away to pause doesn’t make you less worthy.

You are, and have always been, enough.
